Computed Radiography Systems

Kodak Point of Care CR Systems
The Kodak Point of Care CR system is an affordable, single-plate Computed Radiography (CR) line designed for the full spectrum of clinical applications, including physician practices, clinics, imaging centers and hospital departments. Point of Care’s compact design makes it a versatile solution for a wide variety of digital imaging applications.
The Point of Care CR system is the next evolution of the Kodak Orex CR product line. The Point of Care continues the Orex legacy of affordability, durability and compact design. These features have allowed the system to be used in a wide variety of locations, including remote locations such as military battle field installations. If it is durable enough for the military, it will be durable enough for your imaging environment!
The primary difference between these models is system speed as measured by plate throughput per hour. The systems are all based on the same system design and share the same physical dimensions. These different speeds make each model uniquely suited for various environments and applications.

Kodak DirectView Elite CR System
The KODAK DIRECTVIEW Elite CR System is small, easy to install and easy to use. This powerful distributed CR system is capable of producing high quality images with a footprint that is compact enough to be placed in an x-ray room or an x-ray control console room. The KODAK DIRECTVIEW Elite CR System uses industry standard cassette sizes including 15 x 30 cm for dental imaging, as well as 35 x 84 cm for long length imaging for scoliosis and extremity imaging.

Kodak DirectView Classic CR System
The easy to use Kodak DirectView Classic CR System is easy to install and fits almost anywhere. This robust distributed CR system produces high-quality images—and has a footprint that allows placement in an x-ray room or x-ray control console room. The Kodak DirectView Classic CR System utilizes the industry standard for cassette sizes—including 15 x 30 cm for dental imaging, and 35 x 84 cm for long-length imaging.

Kodak DirectView CR825 System
The Kodak DirectView CR 825 System delivers high performance and image quality for radiography applications with moderate exam volumes. Robust and reliable, this single-cassette system is ideal for lower-volume hospital departments, remote clinics, and orthopaedic practices. The CR 825 System uses the same rigid cassettes as Kodak DirectView CR 850 and 950 Systems, and is recommended for hospitals and health networks seeking to leverage their investment in these systems. Optional long-length imaging with seamless stitching software optimizes orthopaedic image capture.

Kodak DirectView CR975 System
A next generation workflow leader, this system has been developed in direct response to customer feedback and evolving technology. The CR 975 System provides “drop-and-go” cassette processing that reduces radiographer queuing and waiting at the reader. Processed images can be sent automatically to pre-selected destinations without manual intervention.
Distributed workflow is achieved with a wall-mounted Kodak DirectView Remote Operations Panel, allowing study functions to be performed in the examination room. As a result, radiographers are free to spend more time with each patient, and more time performing examinations. Key improvements include faster throughput, easier cassette loading, expanded software capabilities, and reduced service-access requirements for greater placement flexibility. Part of Kodak’s broad digital portfolio, the Kodak DirectView CR 975 System offers the image quality, reliability, support, and service you expect from Kodak.
